Kuala Kurau Part 2

Cupcakes for Khalif
Cupcakes for Edria
Zia Khalif
Edria Dayyinah

We celebrated my nephew's birthday there in Bagan Serai. We bought KFC and call my aunts, uncles and cousins to the house where we're staying for makan-makan. Note that even though its Khalif's birthday, Edria got cupcakes too, this is to prevent them from fighting each other over the cupcakes and who got to blow the candles ;0). For your information, the cupcakes were from http://www.adorablecupcakes.blogspot.com/.

Kuala Kurau 22/05/10-23/05/10 (Part 1)

Just came back from attending one of my cousins' wedding in Kuala Kurau. We started from our house in Gombak on Saturday 22/05/10 at 9.30 figuring that we will reach Kuala Kurau at 2.00, but with my sister behind the steering wheel, driving we reach the Taiping(U) exit at 12.30 with only one stop in between. As we promised my uncle that we will meet him at two, we went to eat first. We stopped at a small warung called Kedai Kopi Kak Non at the junction to Selinsing. There we ordered Bihun Sup (Rice Noodle Soup) and Milo Ice. It was good. There were many people there eating noodle soups, I think it is popular among the locals. Here are the photos.

There are lots of chicken slices under those noodles.
Then we went to the house that my uncle rented for us in Bagan Serai. The house is at Taman Serai Permata, rent per night RM200 with Astro. Only my family stayed here, as it has only 3 rooms. The other 15 or so people stayed in another house at Taman Seri Permata. These are the photos of the house where we stayed.

There are paddy fields in front of the house and also behind the house
If you are going to Bagan Serai or somewhere in its vicinities, and you wanted to rent a house for your stay there, here is the link; http://baganseraihomestay.blogspot.com/. Its a nice place near to Taiping, Kuala Kurau, Kuala Sepetang and Kuala Gula Bird Sanctuary. Activities; fishing, bird watching, food (i.e. mee udang at Kuala Sepetang), Historical sight (i.e Kota Ngah Ibrahim).

Adib's (ordered by Tina)

Hi everyone,

I have just finished a job for my cousin-in-law, Tina. She asked me to make dip flowers in gray and silver for hantaran decorations and bunga pahar. So, I make lilies for the hantaran in purplish gray and tea roses in bluish gray. I hope she likes it and the brother she ordered it for likes it too. Here are some of the photos,
